Eldora is located between 20 miles west of Boulder and 50 miles from downtown Denver, Colorado. Eldora was first started in 1961 by four men who bought a piece of 400-acre and from the Forest Service near Nederland. The summit of the area is located at 10,600 feet (3,200 m) above sea level on Bryan Mountain and the main base area is at 9,200 feet (2,800 m). Minimum age to work is 16 years old. Cafeteria Line Attendant
You must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs. You will stand and walk for a long period during your duty. You must be able to work in various working shifts on weekends and holidays. You know how to do safety food handling and basic cooking skills.
Terrain Park Attendant
You will educate guests on the Smart Style Terrain Park Safety program. You must have a good ability to ski/ride the terrain park safely. You will be evaluating the terrain features, maintaining appropriate signage and terrain markings, and report for the damage terrain features. You must have a fit body and adapt to temperature changes on the locations.
Dishwasher
You can wash glassware and other equipment either by hands or mechanical dishwasher. You will empty the trash containers, clean coffee, tea, and soda machines every day. You must follow the company standard in performing sanitation procedure throughout the kitchen area and dining room.
Rental Technicians
You will be responsible for getting the guests ready to go skiing with the appropriate ski or snowboard equipment and outerwear rental. You must be able to work weekends and holidays during the ski season. If you are 16-17 years old you may work in rentals fitting boots.
Other job positions for 18 years old and older are usually Cashier, Reservation Information Representative, Repair Technician, Instructors (PSIA/AASI certified and non-certified), Cooks, Base Operations Staff, Retail Sales Associate, Uniform Room Attendant, Lift Operators, or Snowmakers.
