Teen Jobs at The Pool Management Group
The Pool Management Group is the parent company to swimming pool management companies (partner companies) operating across the states. Part-Time and Full-Time as well as Substitute seasonal positions are available.
Gate Attendants
Gate Attendants are required to undergo American Red Cross First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and AED certification after accepting the position. Courses are provided. Gate Attendants are responsible for greeting patrons, monitoring access to the facility, enforcing admission policies, providing customer service, and maintaining the facility. Minimum age is 14 years old.
Lifeguards
Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring the safety of patrons at the pool, enforcing pool rules, monitoring access to the facility, providing customer service, and maintaining the facility. They must also attend regular in-service training. Minimum age is 15 years old.
Pool Managers
Pool Managers are responsible for monitoring the safety of patrons at the pool, enforcing pool rules, monitoring access to the facility, providing customer service, and maintaining the facility. They must also attend regular in-service training. They are also responsible for scheduling staff, leading in-service, mentoring and training staff, attending manager meetings, ensuring facility maintenance is performed, and maintaining inventory. Minimum age is 17 years old.
Lifeguards and Pool Managers must undergo American Red Cross Lifeguard certification after accepting a position. Courses are offered by their instructors. All positions include on-the job training and support, workers compensation insurance coverage, and professional liability insurance coverage. Bonus programs and incentive programs are also offered.
