The Swimming Swan, LLC is looking to hire lifeguard/swim instructors for the 2023 summer season in Gilroy, CA. Minimum age to apply is 15 years old.

Job Description

The Lifeguard/Swim Instructor position is responsible for overseeing the safety of our patrons, preventing accidents, and leading group swim lessons for community children ages 2-12. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in aquatics, enjoy learning new skills and be able to pass ARC (or equivalent) Lifeguard Certification and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) courses.

Applicants should have availability to work during the 2023 summer season (Memorial Day - Labor Day).
We offer 50% reimbursement on all certification courses after 1 season or 45 days of employment (minimum 1 shift weekly).

No experience necessary: we're looking for people who love being outdoors, learning new skills, and working as a team.

Job Requirement

• Ability to complete and pass ARC (or equivalent) Lifeguard Certification and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) courses
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Valid Work Permit (when applicable)

Work Hours, Workdays

• June 6th - Labor Day
• 7 days a week
• 7:45 AM - 7:30 PM (split into 2 shifts)
