Event Summary

Teen Explainers is a paid high school internship program focusing on science communication and learning about museums. Teen Explainers engage Museum guests and the public in creative science learning.

Teen Explainers is a paid high school internship program focusing on science communication and learning about museums. Teen Explainers engage Museum guests and the public in creative science learning.

• The first 8 hours are unpaid internship training hours.
• After completing the 8 unpaid training hours, Teen Explainers are paid hourly wages.
• Participants may elect to participate as a volunteer.

How to Apply:
Online applications must be submitted no later than 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Selected applicants will be invited to participate in an interactive virtual interview on Zoom either Wednesday, October 7th (7-8:30 p.m.); Thursday, October 8th (4-5:30 p.m.) OR Saturday, October 10th (2-2:30 p.m.)

Required Wednesday training sessions will begin October 14th from 4-5 p.m.
