Teen Job Positions at Winn-Dixie
Cheese Steward – The cheese steward is responsible for overseeing the cheese area of the store to maximize sales of cheese and associated items. Must be at least 18 years of age and requires High school diploma or equivalent.
Cake Decorator – This position will produce baked goods according to guest requests. Must be 18 years of age. Floater ONLY: Must able to travel at least 80% of the time.
Culinary Manager – The culinary manager will oversee the daily operations of the prepared foods, traditional deli, bakery and cheese departments in the transformational store. Must be 18 years of age. Requires High school diploma or equivalency and culinary training or three (3) years experience in a food preparation position.
Certified Pharmacy Technician – The Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in the areas of prescription filling, prescription distribution and clerical activities while under the Pharmacist’s supervision, at all times. Must be 18 years of age and successfully complete the PharmacyTechnician Certification Board (PTCB) exam.
GMD Manager – The GMD Manager will manage the daily operations of their assigned department. This position is accountable for the profit and loss (P&L) for their department and must use their leadership and merchandising skills to manage product levels and make sound business decisions. Must be 18 years of age and requires High school diploma or equivalent.
Bakery Associate – To efficiently execute Bakery programs, policies, and procedures in line with the company’s go-to-market strategy. Must be 18 years of age.
Courtesy Clerk – The courtesy clerk is responsible for increasing guest confidence and loyalty by providing accurate, fast and courteous guest checkout. This individual effectively packages guest purchases and expedites the flow of groceries from checkout lane to guest’s vehicle. Meet legal and company policy age requirements to perform job functions.
In Florida, 14 and 15 year old teenagers can work at Winn-Dixie but they will only start with bagging groceries on the weekends.
