Teen Job Positions at Publix
Bagging - Serve customers; bag groceries and take to cars; retrieve carts from parking lot; some cleaning. Must be at least 14 years old.
Cashier - Greet and assist customers; weigh, scan, and package groceries; handle cash and operate terminal; clean work area. Must be at least 14 years old.
Floral Associate – Serve customers; order, price, and care for plants and flowers; design arrangements; maintain displays; clean work area. Must be at least 14 years old.
Bakery Associate – Serve customers; ice pastries; display products; maintain supplies; clean work area. Must be at least 16 years old.

Publix only accepts applications from job seekers who are at least 14 years old. However, not all of their stores hire minors due to the positions and shifts available at each location.
Go to the store where you want to work and look for the Job Application Center. The JAC, as they call it, is usually located at the front of the store. Use the touch-screen system kiosk to provide Publix with your information. On average, applicants spend 45 minutes with JAC — 20 minutes completing the personal information section and 25 minutes completing a questionnaire.
