Minimum age of employment at Chick-fil-A is 14 year old. Independent franchised at Chick-fil-A restaurants hire their own employees. Operators abide by federal and state labor laws regarding their employees. Under federal law, fourteen is the earliest age that individuals are allowed to work.

Fourteen and fifteen-year-olds are limited on the times of day and hours per day and week they can work. Additionally, employees seventeen and under are restricted as to the types of tasks they can perform.
